- I wander around the PS store a lot and one boring night this gem caught my eye. Distraint, a horror adventure 2D PIXEL game, made by only one person. I think Jesse (the creator) was under the influence of something while making this game, if you read this, let me know what it was! Very weird game, weird in a good way. If Foriginality was a word, it would get a 100 score in F's given. You follow the life of Price, a guy who seizes a house of an old bat to gain kudo's at a fancy pants company and loses his humanity. I say follow the life of Price, because it's a story you engage in with solving puzzles, talking to people and choosing doors . The story is set in stone, you cannot change it, but it doesn't annoy one bit. The atmosphere, the music and sounds, the creepiness in a funny way makes it an awesome ride. It's a horror game, but because of the wonderful graphics it's not "peeing your pants horror", more WTF?! horror. It took me a few hours to finish part 1 and I started with part 2, finishing that later.
