An old school shooter in a new jacket.
It's been a while, so I started the game on easy peasy noobie setting.
I also changed the light dark setting, because I couldn't see shit in the dark and my eyes started to hurt.
I looked like a grandmother staring at the tv with squinting eyes, but ok, the game.
The world is very diverse and the levels with enemies very challenging.
There are a lot of secrets in every level, but I'm an ADHD gamer, so I don't have the patience to wonder around.
Instead I run around like a muppet on speed and I did manage to find some of the secrets.
Sometimes I'm having doubts to start levels over to find them, but then I don't want to!
I can't finish most games, because I lose interest as quickly as a hamster stuffs his cheeks with nuts.
But the whole meaning of my gaming life is to be distracted from life and feel good doing it.
I can say that Doom is a wonderful distraction and when feeling frustrated or angry, this game is the holy grail.
Use the chain saw and you feel better in a jiffy, hitting monsters is a thing I love to do in this game.
Stomping on heads, ripping off arms... O how satisfied I feel when I kill those monsters, maybe a bit disturbing.
