- March 2020, Corona, Lockdown, got fired, what to do what to do? I bought Animal crossing: New Horizons and had fun for months! Started off in a tent, ended up in a house with cellar and second floor. Collected a lot of creatures and fossils and walked and fished my ass off. Everything is happy happy joy joy, just what you need in a time like this.. It's a 1 player game, but you can play together online up to 8 players! A friend of mine bought it too and we could visit each other with a Nintendo online subscription! NOT.. for months we tried and couldn't join. Eventually we succeeded, how? I think after a lot of bug fixing from Nintendo, who weren't very responsive after sending more than 1 email about the issue, blaming Corona. After 6 months I lost interest, but recently found out Mario Bros were visiting the island, so I came back. My residents complained about the fact I was gone for 4 months and my Island dropped from a 5 to a 4 star rating. I tried to get it back to a 5 star rating, but soon realized I got stuck on repeat again and just bought a bunch of Mario bros stuff. Now and then I visit to see if I can convince residents to leave my island and I'll check with Nintendo for awesome updates I don't want to miss.
